Sensor manufacturer gets new CEO

Xavier Hamers will join the Leuze Management Board as the new CEO and Chairman of the Management Board on April 1, 2023.

Helge Held as CFO and Commercial Director and Dr. Henning Grönzin as CTO and Technical Director have been strengthening the Leuze management team for a year now. On April 1, Xavier Hamers will start as the new CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of the Leuze electronic Group. He succeeds Ulrich Balbach, who announced at the annual press conference on February 22 that he would be stepping down from operational management at Leuze in the near future.

Born in the Netherlands, Hamers brings with him many years of international sales experience in sales and business development. Hamers has been CCO at Bartec since October 2017.
