Turnover grows by 25

Despite difficult economic and political times, Leuze has far exceeded its own ambitious growth targets for 2022, as CEO Ulrich Balbach explained at the annual press conference.

Coming from a starting point of € 258 million in sales in 2021, the company achieved sales of just under € 323 million in 2022. This corresponds to sales growth of 25%. With growth of almost 30%, Asia was once again the frontrunner last year. However, the sensor technology provider also recorded its highest growth in years in Europe, with an increase of around 20 %. The order backlog is four to five times higher than usual.

As an internationally active company in the field of optical sensors,Leuze focuses on industries within mechanical and plant engineering: intralogistics, the packaging industry, machine tools, the automotive industry and laboratory automation.
