Operational safety in mobile machinery
With the DS5, BD|Sensors is launching a compact pressure switch on the market that is primarily intended for use in mobile machinery such as cranes, excavators or harvesters.
The small component is used to monitor and control the working pressure in lines for hydraulic units, cooling systems or steering aids and protects against malfunctions. The pressure switch is available in measuring ranges from 16 to 600 bar and offers a switching accuracy of 1 % FSO as well as a high overload, according to the supplier.
Bouncing, arcing and contact corrosion - characteristics that can lead to process errors with mechanical variants - are a thing of the past with the BD|Sensors pressure switch. The switching points of the pressure switch are preconfigured at the factory, but can be individually adapted by the user. The parameters are set by connecting to the PC or using the 'P6' programming device, which is available as an accessory.
