No Sensor+Test 2020

Sensor+Test would have taken place from June 23 to 25, 2020. However, the industrial trade fair for sensor and measurement technology has now also been canceled.

The reason for the cancellation is the continuing critical development and the existing risk situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic (SARS-CoV-2), which has led to an extension of the ban on events in the Free State of Bavaria, making it impossible to hold the trade fair. The ban on major events in the Free State of Bavaria applies (initially) until August 31, 2020. "Our team has fought with all its might to this day to make Sensor+Test 2020 possible. Ultimately, it is now unfortunately impossible to hold the event," explains organizer Holger Bödeker(AMA Service). This is a regrettable decision, but it was made to protect the public and thus also in the interests of the health of all trade fair participants. The two conferences 'SMSI 2020 - Sensor and Measurement Science International' and 'ettc2020 European Test and Telemetry Conference' planned in parallel to the trade fair cannot take place either.

The next Sensor+Test will take place in Nuremberg from May 4 to 6, 2021, together with the 'SMSI 2021 - Sensor and Measurement International Conference' and parallel to PCIM Europe and SMTconnect.
