Globally, Fraba generated sales of EUR 35 million with 230 employees in Europe, Asia and the USA. In addition to sales, the number of employees also increased (up 4.5% from 220 employees in the previous year). The main factors behind this growth on the personnel side were the opening of a sales office in Shanghai in response to the strong demand in China and an increase in the development team at the central R&D center in Aachen. The Fraba Group's think tank, which cooperates closely with the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule and other national and international partners from the fields of Applied Engineering & Applied Electronics, currently employs 40 researchers and developers from 28 different countries.
