"By combining the Vitector and Cedes product lines, customers will gain access to a comprehensive range of safety sensors for industrial doors," explains Leeser. The bottom line is that this transaction will allow the Fraba Group to focus its resources on the motion and position sensor business (Posital), on developments in the realigned Wiegand sensor business (Ubito) and on its manufacturing process consulting business (Credemus). The transfer of the division will take place on June 1, 2022.

Christian-Erik Thöny, CEO of the Cedes Group, comments: "With the acquisition of Vitector, we are securing a leading position in the global market for industrial door sensors."

A smooth transition will be ensured for Vitector's existing customers. Cedes will also continue to develop customer-specific solutions for industrial door sensor applications.
