Safety functions for servo drives

Safe Torque Off (STO) is almost standard for servo drives. Many manufacturers do without other frequently required functions because they do not have the capacity for safe developments.

With NTSafedrive, Newtec offers a generic, interface-independent platform for adding additional safety functions to drives with an integrated STO function without major development effort - including redundantly implemented monitoring logic, safe fault detection and diagnostic measures. The platform supports all common safety functions in accordance with IEC61802-5-2 up to SIL3.
