Comau launches Racer-5-0.80 (Racer-5 cobot) to meet the increasing demand for fast, cost-effective cobots that can be used in confined spaces and in a variety of applications.

The Cobot is a 6-axis articulated arm robot that can operate at a speed of up to 6 m/s. It offers 5 kg payload and 809 mm reach. The Cobot is able to instantly switch from a cooperative mode to maximum speed when no operator is present, achieving a repeatability of 0.03 mm. Thanks to advanced safety features that have been fully certified by TÜV Süd, the Comau cobot can be used within a high-performance line without the need for safety barriers. Integrated LED lights transmit the status of the work cell in real time. Power and air supply connections s8jd located on the front arm to maximize agility and minimize the risk of damage.
