The Ewon Flexy series routers can do much more: they enable the recording, visualization, alerting and pre-processing of data at the edge. The already implemented cloud connectivity for Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services is the basis for Industry 4.0 and IIoT applications. With the connector for Siemens Mindsphere, the Ewon Flexy router also offers plant operators in particular a very efficient way to easily connect their plants to the Siemens Mindsphere platform. Existing machines and systems with S7-200/300/400 controllers can be upgraded for IIoT applications with the many retrofit options of the Ewon Flexy router. The controllers are connected to Mindsphere using the MPI/Profibus and/or ISO-TCP protocols. Controllers from other providers such as Schneider Electric, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Hitachi and Omron can also be integrated quickly and easily.
