Bachmann electronic presents a fully integrated ‚OPC UA Alarms & Conditions (A&C)‘ server for the M1 automation system.
Alarms and status information from the control and field level can be transferred from a PLC to other machines, operator panels, monitoring controls or ERP systems independently of the manufacturer or platform. The installable module detects critical values or status changes even without programming. In addition, the control logic can trigger alarm status changes from the control program via an API. All forwarded changes to operator panels, control consoles or A&C clients are secure and can be optionally encrypted. OEMs can transmit alarms to higher levels via the A&C server. This enables authorized operators to respond more quickly to changes at any level, with user actions visible on all networked systems. In addition, the ‚Atvise HMI‘ visualization software and ‚Atvise Scada‘ control console package fully support the OPC UA server.
