Modular blue laser line scanner
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence introduces the 'Absolute Scanner AS1' with an automatable data capture rate of 1.2 million points per second and interoperability between mobile measuring arm and laser tracker systems.
Hexagon 's modular blue laser line scanner is used with both laser tracker and mobile measuring arm systems. When used with a Leica Absolute Tracker 'AT960', it delivers scanning accuracies of up to 50 µm from 30 m in both handheld and automated operation. The tracker functionality of the scanner is based on a hand-held positioning unit, the 'Absolute Positioner AP21'. With its help, the tracker records all position and orientation information for the scanner.
The scanner is suitable for high-speed scanning with blue laser light in automated cells and structures - integrated into production, on the production line, close to production or in the measuring room.
