EtherCAT allows devices to be integrated into real-time applications with short cycle times and high synchronization accuracy. The interface supports high data transfer rates, flexible network topologies, and automatic address assignment. This allows the pyrometers to be integrated directly into existing automation and machine designs. IO-Link enables connection at the field level via standardized 3-wire cables. Sensor parameters can be managed centrally and are automatically transferred when a device is replaced. In addition, diagnostic and status data are available for system monitoring. Digital data transmission supports precise temperature measurement and allows remote access to device settings. The CTi series thus combines non-contact temperature measurement with modern industrial communication standards. Other features include a separate electronics box with a display as well as modular integration options. The devices are suitable for applications in automated production facilities, metal processing, and Industry 4.0 environments with high demands on process monitoring and temperature control.
