Higher Accuracy for Pressure Transmitter Series

Yokogawa has introduced the "EJX S" series of pressure transmitters as the successor to the "EJX A" line. The devices are based on the company’s silicon resonant sensor technology and are designed to measure pressure, differential pressure, flow, and level in liquid, gas, and steam applications.

The series achieves a measurement accuracy of ±0.025% with the /HAC option, long-term stability of ±0.1% over 20 years, and a measurement range ratio of up to 400:1. The HART and PROFINET communication protocols are supported. Features include IP68 protection, SIL2 certification, enhanced immunity to interference, and a color backlit graphic display. The modular device design is intended to simplify component replacement and reduce maintenance efforts. Standard integrated explosion-proof compliance and diagnostic functions enable standardization of device variants. The display supports status indicators in accordance with NAMUR NE107. The pressure transmitters are suitable for applications in the process industry, including the chemical, oil and gas, power generation, water and wastewater treatment, and food and pharmaceutical industries.
