The starter kit contains everything users need to take advantage of the processor's performance. This includes a 32 GB microSD card pre-installed with Linux (NOOBS 3.1.1), a 5 V power supply, HDMI and USB cables, an SD card reader and an aluminum housing with fan and heat sinks as well as the OKdo Getting Started Guide and the "Get Inspired" project manual.

In addition to an aluminum case and fan, the three heat sinks included in the kit connect directly to the board's processor, RAM and USB controller. With these hardware elements, users can take full advantage of the processor's maximum operating speed of 1.5 GHz.

With its 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM memory, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B included in the kit outperforms many desktop PCs. In addition, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B has two micro HDMI ports so that two external displays with a resolution of up to 4Kp60 can be operated simultaneously. The two micro HDMI to HDMI cables included in the kit make this new feature even easier to use.

The processor of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is the most powerful ever used in a Raspberry Pi. The Broadcom BCM2711 is a quad-core processor with four Arm Cortex-A72 64-bit cores based on the Armv8 architecture. In addition, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B expands the interface options of the SBC. In addition to the two USB 2.0 ports, it now offers two USB 3.0 ports. This is complemented by 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 BLE wireless connectivity as well as Gigabit Ethernet.

Developed by OKdo and available worldwide exclusively through OKdo and RS Components, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B development kit with 8GB RAM offers makers and engineers alike easy access to the most powerful SBC currently available. It is suitable as the basis for the latest and most demanding applications in the fields of AI, robotics and Industry 4.0. Despite its high performance, the SBC still provides easy access for the education sector to gain experience with the highest processing performance at an entry-level price.
