RS Components is underlining the importance of the German-speaking market for the company with a key personnel decision and is bundling its management in this important growth region. Ralf Hellwig is the new Managing Director DACH.
Due to its large market potential, the Germany, Austria, Switzerland region plays a key role in RS Components ' growth strategy. In order to underline its role as an important player in this region, the distributor has already made considerable investments in the DACH region. This includes the construction of a new head office in Frankfurt and the massive investment in the expansion of the distribution center in Bad Hersfeld.
Ralf Hellwig brings with him extensive experience from the European B2B distribution landscape and was previously employed by SIG. Here he held the position of Managing Director. Prior to that, Hellwig worked at Rubix for 14 years, most recently as Managing Director for the DACH region and member of the Executive Board.
RS Components is a trading brand of Electrocomponents, a global omni-channel solutions partner for industrial customers and suppliers involved in the design, manufacture or maintenance of industrial equipment and facilities. Electrocomponents is listed on the London Stock Exchange. In the last financial year, which ended on March 31, 2020, the Group reported annual sales of 1.95 billion pounds sterling.
