Stephan Volgmann becomes Chief Saels Officer
On May 15, Stephan Volgmann will take over the newly created position of Chief Sales Officer within the management team.
Stephan Volgmann studied electrical engineering, specializing in communications engineering. In 2004, he started his career at Phoenix Contact in mechanical and plant engineering. Since July 2020, he has headed the Phoenix Contact sales company in Germany.
With the expansion of the Group Management Board to include the position of Chief Sales Officer, Phoenix Contact is further focusing and holistically aligning the global sales organization to customers and markets.
The Management Board continues to include the current members Chief Executive Officer Dirk Görlitzer, Chief Operating Officer Torsten Janwlecke, Chief Operating Officer Ulrich Leidecker, Chief Digital Officer Frank Possel-Dölken and Chief Financial Officer Axel Wachholz.
