Optimized hardware and software

Spectra and Sybera jointly offer real-time automation under Windows, which consists of the optimized interaction of hardware and software. The "Sybera EFI Realtime Engine (EFIRTE)" forms the basis for the real-time sub-system.

Real-time automation under Windows from Spectra and Sybera

It runs the Ethernet Core with corresponding libraries for the Ethercat, Profinet, Sercos III or Ethernet/IP fieldbus systems. With this open platform, all the advantages of a Windows system can be used and real-time automation for different fieldbus systems is also possible on an industrial PC. Spectra provides users with the appropriate computer platform with pre-installed 'Sybera' software from a single source. According to the provider, this ensures that there are no incompatibilities between hardware and software or problems with real-time performance.
