Open platform

Phoenix Contact launches an open control platform based on PLCnext Technology.

It enables parallel working on the basis of established software tools such as "Visual Studio", "Eclipse", "Matlab Simulink" and "PC Worx" as well as the creation of program code in IEC 61131-3 as well as C/C++ and C#. PLCnext Technology" can then be used to integrate functions from third-party manufacturers or the open source community into the automation system. PC Worx Engineer", an adaptive engineering platform, is available for programming in accordance with IEC 61131-3. The option to use reusable automation modules and the holistic integration of safety and security concepts reduce development time.
