Flexibly expandable
The E°EXC 880 is a hardware platform for application-optimized all-in-one controllers with onboard I/Os from Eckelmann.
Whether for CNC series machines, PLC applications or customer-specific control solutions, the basic system can be flexibly expanded with an additional circuit board to include application-specific I/O functions that are integrated via the system bus. The basic version of the platform has two galvanically isolated CAN buses, an Ethercat master, serial interfaces (one RS232, one RS422, one RS485/RS422 switchable), 20 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs as well as four analog inputs and four analog outputs. In addition to the CNC core from Eckelmann, a PLC is integrated that can be programmed under Codesys V3.
