Change in the management team

Blake Moret, President and CEO of Rockwell Automation, has announced a change in senior leadership at the company beginning January 1, 2019. Specifically, it concerns the 'Global Sales and Marketing' division.

The US company Rockwell Automation has its headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It currently employs around 22,000 people in over 80 countries.

John McDermott, currently Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, will retire on March 31, 2019. Until his retirement, he will continue to report to Blake Moret.

John Genovesi - currently Vice President - will assume the new position of Senior Vice President of Enterprise Accounts and Software on January 1, 2019. In this new role, Genovesi will report directly to Moret and focus on Rockwell Automation 's most strategic customers and the partnership with PTC.

Also on January 1, 2019, Thomas Donato, who currently serves as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), will assume the role of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Donato will be based at Rockwell Automation's EMEA headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, and will also report directly to Moret. In this new role, Donato will be responsible for the growth and development of Rockwell Automation's global channels to market, as well as the sales and marketing organizations in Asia Pacific, EMEA, Latin America and North America.
