Performance jumps by 50

The Automation PC 910 from B&R is now also optionally available with the quad-core Xeon processor. According to the manufacturer, the new microarchitecture enables a 50% leap in performance compared to the previous Core i processors.

The aim is to serve all applications that require fast analysis of large amounts of data - such as vision systems, data pre-processing for cloud applications and data mining for quality data acquisition and analysis. Three housing variants with up to five expansion slots are available, which can be equipped with a variety of interface cards and data carriers. The standard operating systems Windows10 IoT Enterprise and Linux are available for the new processor.
