Designed for performance-intensive applications
The fanless embedded 3.5-inch single-board computer Wafer-ULT5 from Compmall is based on the 8th generation Intel mobile ULT processor.
There is a choice of five processors - from Intel Celeron 4205U with up to 1.8 GHz, two cores and 2 Mbyte cache to Intel Core i7-8665UE with up to 4.4 GHz, four cores and 8 Mbyte cache. The TDP (Thermal Design Power) is 15 W for all CPUs. Its RAM can be expanded up to 32 Gbyte 2400 MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM.
An Intel UHD Graphics 620 graphics card is onboard. The board offers three display interfaces: 2x HDMI with 4096 x 2160@30Hz and 1x LVDS with 1920 x 1200@60Hz. According to Compmall, 2x GbE LAN with Intel I211AT controller and 1x GbE LAN with Intel i219 controller, 4x USB 3.1 Gen2, 1x RS232, 1x RS232/422/485 and 2x USB 2.0 are available for data exchange. Audio, 8-bit digital inputs/outputs and 1x SATA 6G/s complete the equipment. The embedded board can be expanded via a full-size Mini PCIe slot and an M.2 A-Key 2230 slot.
