With the RGPS-R9244GP+ series, ICP Germany has a Gigabit PoE Ethernet switch in its range that is suitable for rack mounting. Various powered devices such as cameras can be powered directly via 24 10/100/1000-base-T(X) PoE ports with up to 30 W per port.

According to the provider, the backbone area benefits from the increased data transmission speed of the four 1G/10G Base-X-SFP+ ports. The switch offers additional configuration functions thanks to Layer 3 functionality, which supports static routing, RIP and VRRP. The switch can be managed via Web, Telnet, Console (CLI) or optionally the Windows utility software "Open-Vision". The integrated O-ring and O-chain technologies offer security through redundancy and facilitate rapid recovery in the event of network failures. The switch also supports jumbo frames of up to 10 Kbytes. Large amounts of data such as high-resolution video and image files can be transferred within the Ethernet network. The switch is supplied with an input voltage of 1000 W as standard via a permanently installed power supply unit. The switch is optionally available as a low-power version with 390 W or a 50 to 57 V(DC) terminal block.
