Profinet-IO, Ethercat and Ethernet/IP are available as compatible bus interfaces. Remote diagnostics via TCP/IP is possible via a separate Ethernet interface. The central features of the series include a power supply module with two electrically isolated RJ45 sockets, an electrically isolated 24 V (DC) power supply on the bus coupler and two configuration interfaces such as web page and USB.

According to the provider, connected configurations are read in automatically. Up to 64 devices or up to 80 external LOCC-Box-Net modules can be connected in line on the bus.
USB communication is implemented in accordance with USB specification 2.0 at 480 Mbit/s (USB high-speed). LEDs signal status displays for power, run and status as well as other states.
