Easy to use
According to the supplier, the new Cat. 6A module carriers from Lütze allow data transfer points between the field and the control cabinet to be implemented more quickly and securely. One of the key features of the module rack is the significantly simplified wiring without the need for special tools.
Plug-in Profinet or Ethernet connections can be set up in just a few simple steps and in up to 30% less time than with conventional module racks. According to Lütze, the transmission of supply voltages via Power over Ethernet (PoE+) is also possible.
The 8-pin module carrier has been re-embedded tested in accordance with IEC 60512-24-1200 and is 10 Gigabit Ethernet-compliant in accordance with IEEE 802.3an.
Wire cross-sections from AWG 26/1 to AWG 22/1 and AWG 27/7 to AWG 22/7 can be contacted. Even less flexible cables with a maximum diameter of 9 mm can be connected securely. The RJ45 socket unit in standardized keystone snap-in format has an additional potential connection as a functional earth in accordance with DIN 46342-1. The gold-plated contacts can be loaded with a maximum rated current of 1 A per contact and are designed for up to 750 mating cycles.
The module carrier complies with flammability class V0 in accordance with UL 94 and can be used in an operating temperature range between -40 and +70 °C.
