Ethernet chassis
Distributed measurements in the network
With the cDAQ-9185 and cDAQ-9189, National Instruments offers two Ethernet chassis with different numbers of slots. The company thus combines Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) with 'CompactDAQ' hardware for distributed measurements in the network.
The chassis support accurate time synchronization via TSN, making it easier to scale distributed systems, and offer precise network timing without additional synchronization lines for seamlessly synchronized measurements, easy daisy-chaining via an integrated network switch for setting up and expanding distributed applications, and more, operating temperatures from -40 to +70 °C, shock resistance up to 50 g and vibration resistance up to 5 g for operation in harsh environments, and software abstraction via the 'NI-DAQmx' driver, which automatically synchronizes multiple chassis for easier programming.
