Stemmer Imaging expands market share in France
Stemmer Imaging has acquired the business of Elvitec S.A.S.. The French company is a highly specialized provider of industrial image processing solutions.

© Stemmer ImagingAs part of a share deal, the wholly owned subsidiary Stemmer Imaging S.A.S. has acquired 100% of the shares in Elvitec. The company from Pertuis, near Aix-en-Provence, is a provider of camera solutions for the industrial sector, surveillance and imaging. The Management Board of Stemmer Imaging expects the acquisition to contribute around EUR 9 million in additional revenue and an EBITDA margin of around 11% for Elvitec in the 2018/2019 financial year. The company will be consolidated retroactively from July 1, 2018.
"With Elvitec, we are broadening our portfolio with an optimally networked distributor. At the same time, we are strengthening our presence in the French market and our expertise for French-speaking countries," says Christof Zollitsch, CEO of Stemmer Imaging.
Both parties initially agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
