New appointments to the HR Board and European CTO
The Stuttgart-based Lapp Group has made two important new appointments: Dr. Hilmar Döring has been appointed Board Member for Human Resources and Organizational Development at Lapp Holding, while Boris Katic is the new Chief Technical Officer of U.I. Lapp GmbH.
In his role as the new Lapp CEO, Döring succeeds Werner Knies, who has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of Lapp Holding. Döring, who holds a doctorate in economics, has almost twenty years of international experience in human resources management at well-known family-owned companies in the mechanical and plant engineering and electrical industries. Döring on his new role in the company: "Our environment is changing ever faster and issues such as digitalization are also presenting the Lapp Group with major challenges. In order to successfully overcome these and implement our strategy sustainably, it is particularly important that employees are able to embrace change and play a positive role in shaping it. I would like to help with this."
As the new Chief Technical Officer of U.I. Lapp GmbH, Boris Katic will be responsible for all production plants, purchasing and operational excellence in the South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Katic also has over 20 years of professional experience in the automotive and technology industries, among others.
