Coupler for CC-Link
The 'u-remote' system from Weidmüller offers couplers for all market-relevant fieldbuses, such as Profibus-DP, Profinet, Ethercat, Modbus-TCP, Ethernet/IP, Devicenet, CANopen and Powerlink.
With the new CC-Link couplers, the user now has a free choice of nine different fieldbuses. The CC-Link couplers are also compatible with all u-remote' I/O modules. The couplers can be conveniently configured using the web server integrated in u-remote. It enables section-by-section commissioning even before the machine is commissioned and facilitates maintenance work.
According to Weidmüller, another feature is the power supply for the I/O modules, for which two separate, heavy-duty 10 A current paths are available for the 24 V (DC) supply. This means that the couplers offer sufficient energy reserves even with a maximum configuration of 64 modules, whereby additional energy supply is often only necessary for the output paths.
Power feed modules are available for refreshing the input and output current paths. These feed a further 10 A, monitored by the voltage diagnostics display, into the corresponding input or output path.
