Weidmüller bundles process industry know-how
Klippon Engineering UK is the name of Weidmüller's newly founded subsidiary in which the Detmold-based company bundles its engineering expertise for the process industry.
Weidmüller is strengthening its international focus and engineering expertise for the process industry in the newly founded subsidiary Klippon Engineering UK. The new Group company is based in Leicester, UK. At the same time, the company says it is returning to its roots: Weidmüller opened its own site in the UK back in 1959, where it founded Klippon Electricals Ltd.
The newly founded Klippon Engineering is responsible for a global network of engineering and service expertise. With its own sales team, application experts and affiliated production and assembly sites, product and application-specific solutions will be developed, certified and implemented in the future.
Under the 'Klippon' brand, Weidmüller offers solutions for connection technology, communication and digitalization as well as components for hazardous areas and engineering services in the process industry. Klippon Engineering continues this tradition as a certified and globally active company and develops solutions for industries such as oil, gas & LNG, chemicals & pharmaceuticals, water & wastewater treatment, mining, minerals & metallurgy, pulp & paper, glass, hydrogen and power-to-X.
With the new foundation, Weidmüller is further expanding its international commitment. With its experts in Asia, the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Great Britain and Weidmüller's other production sites, Klippon Engineering is now active worldwide.
