In his new role, Lang will also be responsible for the three Bosch Rexroth business units that make up the Factory Automation division (Automation and Electrification Solutions, Assembly Technology, Linear Motion Technology). He will retain his function as Head of the Automation and Electrification Solutions business unit in his new role.

With the expansion of the Management Board, Bosch Rexroth says it is responding to the increasing importance of the factory automation business area and the focus on future topics relating to software-based, automated and connected solutions.

Heiner Lang took over the management of Bosch Rexroth's Automation and Electrification Solutions business unit in July 2017. The business unit offers drive and control technologies for factory automation and delivers Industry 4.0 solutions for the factory of the future. Lang began his career at Bosch Rexroth in January 2017 as Head of Technology for the Industrial Applications business unit. Previously, he was President Europe and Asia of MAG IAS GmbH.
