Software facilitates device overview
With the Balluff Engineering Tool (BET), Balluff provides software for manufacturer-independent commissioning and configuration of IO-Link devices according to the IO-Link standard for sensors and actuators.
The tool facilitates the manufacturer-independent and central commissioning, parameterization and diagnosis of IO-Link devices via easy-to-use software. It provides an overview of the status of all IO-Link devices in the network and automatically sends notifications in the event of errors.
Users can document the current status of the network and - without a programmable logic controller (PLC) - test inputs and outputs. Device settings and IO-Link parameters can also be saved and reused. During maintenance or service, the saved parameters can be restored after a device has been replaced. The Balluff tool can be installed on PCs and laptops. A license is required for each end device on which it is to be used in full. Without this, the software can only be used with limited functions.
