Select process connections as required

Vega's 'Vegabar' pressure sensors and 'Vegapoint' point level switches were to be the protagonists at this year's SPS, as they made Vega a full-service provider for level and pressure in food and pharmaceutical processes at the beginning of 2020.

The compact appliance series are tailored to standard applications. According to Vega, the standardized hygiene adapter system provides flexibility; the process connections can be selected as required and adapted to the requirements on site. A 360° status display offers safety. The colors of the illuminated ring can be freely selected from over 256 colors and can therefore be quickly identified even in daylight. It can be seen at a glance whether the measuring process is running, whether the sensor is switching or whether there is a possible fault in the process. The standard IO-Link protocol ensures universal communication. This means that the devices have a standardized communication platform that enables seamless data transfer and simple system integration. Both series can be read out and configured using a smartphone or tablet.
