imc acquires KMT
imc Test & Measurement acquires the company KMT Kraus Messtechnik, thereby further expanding its expertise in the field of telemetric data acquisition.
KMT has been developing and producing telemetry solutions for the global market for 40 years. imc and KMT have been working together as partners since 2017. KMT products complement imc's range of solutions with digital, modular telemetry systems for the rail and aviation industries as well as for industrial applications. The collaboration between imc and KMT extends to joint sales activities and cooperation in development. An interface for imc measurement systems for the digital and synchronous connection of KMT telemetry systems has already been developed.
"With the acquisition of KMT, we are driving forward the complete integration of KMT telemetry into imc measurement systems," explains Kai Gilbert, imc Managing Director. Martin Kraus, Managing Director of KMT, explains: KMT customers "will find it easier, faster and cheaper to obtain a complete solution for their measuring and monitoring tasks. Via the jointly developed digital interface, users can connect KMT telemetry directly to the imc measurement system and thus implement comprehensive test solutions - without having to worry about data formats or synchronization."
