At Captron, there is a new business division called Captron Solutions for the software and service offering with which the sensor manufacturer is positioning itself as a solution provider for intralogistics. This allows customers to be supported "from A to Z in their digitalization projects: in individual software development and integration, in process consulting (lean management) and in project management," explains Dr Roland Aubauer, Senior Director Research & Development at Captron. And Philip Bellm, CEO at Captron, continues: "We are deliberately driving this new strategic direction forward after analyzing the market in detail. Companies want to increase their efficiency, reduce errors and minimize costs. The demand for digital solutions has therefore increased significantly in recent years - particularly in intralogistics and production - and continues to do so."

The smart intralogistics solution 'oneGRID' is an all-in-one system consisting of flexible software with open interfaces and robust hardware (capacitive buttons). It can be flexibly integrated into existing infrastructures - even for retrofitting projects. The solution bridges the gap between ERP and logistics solutions and supports warehouse staff intuitively and ergonomically with paperless picking. The system can also be used in production halls to reduce error rates.

'Captron Technologies' is launching two series of capacitive pushbuttons: the 'Caneo series4x' and the 'Caneo series10'. According to the manufacturer, they offer a service life of over 100 million switching cycles as well as flexible installation and calibration options via IO-Link. The capacitive HMI applications are also easy to clean, making them particularly suitable for use on public transport doors. There is also a capacitive pushbutton that is certified by the EHEDG and therefore approved for hygienic use in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
