CANEO series10 from CAPTRON
CAPTRON addresses all of these challenges with the capacitive pushbuttons from the CANEO series10. As the new standard for Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), the pushbuttons can be flexibly integrated into networked environments via IO-Link - or via other interfaces depending on individual requirements. The technology is designed for demanding industrial applications and, thanks to the capacitive principle, has an extremely long service life of over one hundred million switching cycles.
Stainless steel push-button with hygienic design
The buttons also contribute to hygiene concepts in companies, which has become increasingly relevant in the context of virus containment. As they have increased tactile sensitivity, the push-buttons can also be easily operated with work gloves. Their stainless steel design ensures good robustness in daily use and makes them easy to clean.
As a variant with a hygienic design and rounded shape, the push-buttons have a food-safe seal that prevents substances such as cleaning agents or food residues from seeping through and sticking to the push-buttons - so viruses don't stand a chance. Flexible use with or without IO-Link
IO-Link significantly promotes developments in Industry 4.0 - the technology revolutionizes communication for the field level and optimizes various machine functions thanks to comprehensive data processing. The communication system therefore has the potential to sustainably increase manufacturers' productivity and cost-effectiveness.
The capacitive pushbuttons from CAPTRON 's CANEO series10 therefore offer the ideal interface in networked production environments. Via IO-Link, users have the option of individually configuring all function parameters: for example, button sensitivity, actuation type, minimum actuation time or the appropriate one of 16 million light colors. To offer the company even more flexibility, the push-buttons can also be used without IO-Link, depending on individual requirements. They can also be controlled via various interfaces (PNP, NPN, push/pull).
