The variant has been optimized with a focus on flexibility, a short commissioning time and price-sensitive applications in logistics and material handling tasks. The factor 1 sensor also detects smaller metal targets when approached from the side, as is common in target applications.

The sensor head can be positioned in five directions without tools and in a time-saving manner, which simplifies mechanical installation and increases the flexibility of the sensor, according to the manufacturer Turck. It is magnetic field resistant up to 300 mT and fulfills protection class IP68. It is temperature-resistant from -30 to +85 °C. The sensor is available as an NPN and PNP changer.
