Condition monitoring sensor with IO-Link
Turck's combined humidity and temperature sensor CMTH is available in a compact version with improved IIoT integration for condition monitoring applications.
With a length of 57 mm and an operating temperature range of -40 to +100 °C, the IP67 sensor in the M12 housing from Turck can also be used in demanding environments. Its simple integration is also supported on the interface side: The standardized IO-Link smart sensor profile (version 4.1.2.) with 64 bits on two channels simplifies the manufacturer-independent setup of networked systems. The sensor is particularly suitable for monitoring the climate in production and storage buildings in industries that handle goods that are sensitive to humidity and temperature. In Simple I/O mode (SIO), the sensor outputs one switching signal each for temperature and humidity - this mode is particularly suitable for retrofitting climate data in existing applications. In more modern systems or machines, the CMTH sensor can output continuous process values and, for example, independently determine the situational dew point.
