IP67 power supply units with IO-Link for field mounting
Turck is expanding its portfolio of flexible power supplies for 1-phase and 3-phase applications in modular machine building with compact power supply units with IP67 protection.
The robust PSU67 power supply units from Turck operate in a temperature range from -25 to +70 °C and can be mounted directly on the machine without protective measures. There is no need for control cabinets or boxes. The power supply units are available with 15, 20 or 25 A and with M12, 7/8-inch or HAN-Q4 connection. They supply 24 to 28 V(DC) directly on site without losses and, according to the manufacturer, offer a high level of reliability thanks to electronic open-circuit, overload and short-circuit protection. An efficiency of over 95% ensures a good energy balance. The output voltage can be configured either directly on the device via the LED interface or remotely via IO-Link. The IO-Link interface enables communication with the power supply units and provides data transparency for Industry 4.0 applications such as predictive maintenance or condition monitoring. The continuous transmission of process, consumption, event and diagnostic data to the cloud enables continuous monitoring and optimization in the background.
