Yokogawa invests in Bayshore Networks
Yokogawa Electric Corporation is investing around 900,000 US dollars in Bayshore Networks. The US company develops cyber security software for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
With the investment, Yokogawa aims to support Bayshore Networks in the further development of its IIoT security technology and at the same time benefit from the communication and control technologies from Bayshore Networks. Headquartered in Washington DC, the company was founded in 2012 and has created a secure communication control technology for layer 7 of the OSI reference model: The latter was established as a standard by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to simplify data communication between different communication systems.
