The cost of cybersecurity incidents

How much do companies spend on IT security and how does this investment compare to the loss caused by cybersecurity incidents? Kaspersky has analyzed these questions and identifies a variable that is decisive for the amount of the loss.

The report "Measuring Financial Impact of IT Security on Businesses" is based on the study "Corporate IT Security Risks", which Kaspersky Lab produces annually in collaboration with B2B International. For 2016, around 4,400 specialists and managers in small, medium-sized and large companies from 25 countries were surveyed on IT security issues and security incidents that had occurred.
