Safety certification for mobile machinery
TTControl has completed the safety certification of two CANopen Safety I/O modules. The two variants of the "HY-TTC 30X" family - HY-TTC 30XSH and HY-TTC 30XSI - are certified with regard to the requirements of EN ISO 13849 PL c.
For example, they can be used as I/O extensions for safety-related functions in mobile machinery. Communication with the master control unit takes place via the CANopen safety protocol. As ready-to-use modules, the devices can be easily integrated into safety-relevant systems. The hardware key figures required for the safety assessment, such as MTTFd and DC values, are available for each input and output. The performance level for the entire system can therefore also be easily determined. All variants of the product family are protected by a die-cast aluminum housing. All I/Os are flexibly configurable. Parameterizable current control of the PWM outputs is available locally in the I/O module.
