Yamaha FA opens branch office in Düsseldorf
Yamaha Factory Automation, a subdivision of the Yamaha Motor Robotics Business Unit, has opened a European office to strengthen support for distributors and customers of Yamaha's robotic systems and products.
The new support office in Neuss near Düsseldorf is strategically located to maintain contact with Yamaha's agents and distributors across Europe. According to Ichiro Arimoto, General Manager of Yamaha Motor IM Europe, now is also "the right time to strengthen support for our European partners as leading companies are significantly increasing robot deployments as one of the foundations of digital transformation."
Based on over 40 years of experience in introducing robotic technology for motorcycle assembly, Yamaha develops articulated robots, Cartesian robots, Scara and single-axis robots, among others. Control systems, accessories such as grippers and customer-specific adaptations are also part of the portfolio.
