Yaskawa Europe with new Managing Director

On March 1, 2019, Manfred Stern, previously President & CEO of Yaskawa Europe, handed over operational management to Bruno Schnekenburger. Stern had been a member of the management team for over eleven years.

Manfred Stern was the first European to be appointed to the management board of the European subsidiary of the Japanese technology group Yaskawa in 2008. As 'Regional Head' within Yaskawa Europe, he now concentrates on further networking the company with associations, social groups and politics. His successor as CEO, Bruno Schnekenburger, was previously COO of the company and was previously responsible for the robotics division of Yaskawa Europe for over four years.

Yaskawa Europe, based in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main, had a turnover of 600 million euros in the last financial year and employed 1900 people.
