Wilfried Eberhardt appointed as new Chairman
Wilfried Eberhardt, Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Supervisory Board at Kuka in Augsburg, has been elected Chairman of the Board of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association for a period of three years.

© VDMAIn his new position as Chairman of the Executive Board of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association, Wilfried Eberhardt succeeds Dr. Norbert Stein from Vitronic. The latter is stepping down after three years as scheduled and was bid farewell at the beginning of October 2018 in recognition of his services and commitment to the industry. Frank Konrad, Managing Partner at Hahn Automation in Rheinböllen, has been elected Deputy Chairman of the trade association.

- Dr. Dietmar Ley, Chief Executive Officer at Basler in Ahrensburg (Germany)
- Dr. Olaf Munkelt, Managing Director, MVTec Software in Munich
- Cornelia Püschel, Managing Partner, Püschel Automation in Lüdenscheid
- Stefan Roßkopf, Managing Director of Teamtechnik Maschinen und Anlagen in Freiberg
- Helmut Schmid, Managing Director of Universal Robots (Germany) in Munich
- Gottfried Schumacher, Head of Product Management Assembly Technology, at Bosch Rexroth in Stuttgart
- Henrik Schunk, Managing Partner and CEO of Schunk from Lauffen am Neckar
- Volker Spanier, Head of Factory Automation Division at Epson Germany from Meerbusch
