Short intermezzo: Chief Technology Officer leaves Kuka

Prof. Dr. Peter Hofmann, who took over as Chief Technology and Development Officer in November 2019, is leaving Kuka. The Supervisory Board and the Chief Technology Officer have jointly decided to end their collaboration for personal reasons as of February 20, 2020.

Prof. Dr. Peter Hofmann was Board Member for Technology and Development and was also Head of Research and Development in the Robotics business segment.

"We would like to thank Peter Hofmann for his commitment and wish him all the best for the future," said Peter Mohnen, CEO of Kuka AG. "Innovation and technology are of central importance to Kuka. We are therefore concentrating on a timely succession plan for the Robotics division."
