Yaskawa
Robots with a narrow wrist
Thanks to its slim wrist, the 6-axis Motoman GP20 robot from Yaskawa is suitable for various handling and assembly tasks in small spaces, e.g. for loading/unloading machine tools, assembly or handling workpieces.
It also has high rigidity, which offers advantages for cutting or grinding machining tasks. The portfolio expansion gives Yaskawa customers more choice: The Motoman GP25 is still available for applications that require a hollow arm design. The Motoman GP20 offers a 20 kg load capacity, a reach of over 1.8 m and wrist resistance to dust and liquid ingress (IP67). Like all models in the GP series (GP stands for General Purpose), the new development also achieves very good cycle times with high repeat accuracy thanks to state-of-the-art servo technology, according to the manufacturer.
