Yaskawa
Small controller with more memory
The small controller 'Vipa Micro' from Yaskawa is available in an updated version: The main memory has been expanded to 128 Kbyte as standard.
The memory of the small controller from Yaskawa is fully retentive, so that all data and statuses remain stored without further safety measures in the event of a power failure. In addition to 30 integrated digital I/Os, there are now two analog inputs on board instead of one, which can be configured as 4 to 20 mA (current) or 0 to 10 V (voltage). The basic version of the Micro is 72 mm wide.
The 'Speed7' technology ensures high clock rates and fast program sequences, for example for precise positioning and control tasks. The small controller can be programmed with 'Speed7 Studio Lite' and all 'Speed7 Studio' full versions as well as with the Siemens Simatic Manager and TIA Portal. The backplane bus, which enables very short response times with a speed of 48 Mbit/s, can support up to eight additional digital I/O modules. This provides users with up to 158 I/O channels for automation tasks.
