Robot dog 'Aibo' returns

At the beginning of November 2017, Sony presented the new version of its robot dog 'Aibo'. According to the electronics company, 'Aibo ERS-1000' should be able to interact better with its owner than its predecessor, which Sony took off the market over ten years ago.

The new generation of 'Aibo' recognizes the smile or words of praise from its human counterpart, according to Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai at the presentation in Tokyo (Japan) on 1 November 2017. The robot dog also uses sensors to detect stroking on the head or back and adapts its behaviour to the human's reactions.
