Based on Kuka 's IIoT platform, the Vinci Energies brands for ICT and industry, Axians and Actemium, will implement holistic Industry 4.0 solutions - from conception to system integration. Through this cooperation, both partners aim to meet the growing demand of production companies for data-driven process optimization.

According to both companies, the target markets of Vinci Energies and Kuka complement each other perfectly, making cross-industry solutions possible. In addition, Kuka's collaboration specifically complements the scalability for programming IIoT microservices from the internal platform provider Connyun. For integrators such as Actemium, there is the opportunity to offer additional services and options based on Industry 4.0 technologies via digitalization - both for new concepts and for the entire existing plant area.

Among other things, the cooperation provides for the IIoT platform from Kuka subsidiary Connyun to be implemented in the new Vinci Energies Digital Lab in Frankfurt am Main at the beginning of 2018. Robot and process data will be collected and analyzed using a robot-based application and specific recommendations for action on process design will be derived. As a specialist in analytics and IIoT platforms, Axians is responsible for the architecture and development of the process-specific software modules and interfaces. By changing the variables, scenarios and principles for expanding cross-component efficiency increases can be developed. Actemium will be closely integrated into Kuka's products, solutions and services and the Digital Lab will be used jointly to present cross-industry use cases.
